The open programmes permit access to university education for everyone, regardless of their prior studies. These programmes meet the UOC and International Graduate Institute's commitment to the value of social transformation through education and culture and bring the University closer to the social and cultural diversity of its surroundings.

 
 
 
 
University @thenaeum
The University @thenaeum offers the possibility of studying subjects from the university courses offered by the UOC without the need to meet university entrance requirements with the aim of increasing or reinforcing skills and knowledge.
Summer School
The Summer School courses offer short training activities, worth at least two credits, aimed at any individual or professional wishing to acquire knowledge or study a specific subject in greater depth.
 
Seminars
This is a range of short training, worth at least two credits, aimed principally at acquiring or developing various specialist professional skills.
 
Winter Courses
The Winter Courses offer short training activities, worth at least two credits, aimed at any individual or professional wishing to acquire knowledge or study a specific subject in greater depth.
 
UOC entrance courses for > 25s
The most suitable and effective way of preparing for the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya’s entrance examination.
 
Català Obert
Català obert provides a streamlined and flexible way of learning Catalan on the UOC’s Virtual Campus and prepares students for the inter-university tests in order to obtain the official certificates endorsed by the Catalan government.
